Athens Day Cruise is a one-day cruise to the three Saronic Gulf islands of Hydra, Poros and Aegina, operating since 1965. The product is a joint venture between Evermore Cruises and Hydraiki Naval Company, two Athens-based shipping companies. The cruise departs from Marina Kallithea (also referred to as Marina Falirou) and returns the same evening to Piraeus.
The cruise uses large day-cruise ships with multiple decks, indoor lounges, open sun decks and full restaurant facilities. The day includes a buffet lunch served while sailing between the islands and Greek folk dance performances on the return leg. Optional add-ons include hotel pick-up and bus tours on Aegina to the Temple of Aphaia and the Monastery of Saint Nektarios.
SimpleFerry confirms the booking and issues an e-ticket for the day. Passengers report at the marina around 60 to 90 minutes before sailing. Hand luggage is allowed; the cruise is designed as a same-day round trip so overnight luggage is not needed.
