Tirrenia

Tirrenia is a historic Italian ferry company founded on 21 December 1936 to provide sea links between mainland Italy and the islands. Fleet and onboard experience

The current Tirrenia passenger fleet is built around modern RoPax vessels delivered from 2000 onwards, with cabins (inside, outside, with and without sea view), reclining seats, self-service restaurants, bars, shops, dedicated pet cabins, sun decks and Wi-Fi where activated. The ships are designed to handle long overnight crossings (8 to 16 hours) on the Tyrrhenian routes. Tirrenia retains a strong heritage role as the historic operator of the Italy-Sardinia and Italy-Sicily corridors.
