Maistros Santorini is the passenger-ferry brand of the Boatman Union of Santorini (Greek: Enosi Lemvouchon Santorinis), based in Messaria on Santorini. The company has been active in scheduled passenger services since 2015 with a single fast vessel that connects Santorini with the smaller Cyclades islands of Folegandros, Ios, Sikinos and Anafi. The same union also operates around 20 boats that tender cruise passengers from the Bay of Fira to shore.
The single passenger vessel was built in 2015 and is named for the Maistros wind that blows across the Aegean. It is 28.20 metres long, 5.80 metres wide and cruises at 27 knots, carrying up to 200 passengers. The ship is foot-passenger only — there is no vehicle deck. Crossings are short (30 minutes to 90 minutes depending on destination), so amenities are limited to seating, restrooms and basic comfort. Maistros Santorini is the most reliable way to reach Anafi from Santorini, since few of the larger Cyclades operators include Anafi on their summer schedules.
Tickets booked through SimpleFerry are issued as e-tickets. Boarding closes 30 minutes before departure. Vehicles are not carried on this service. Travellers with cars should book a separate Ro-Pax operator (such as Blue Star Ferries) to reach Santorini and use Maistros Santorini for foot-passenger inter-island hopping. Free luggage allowance is one carry-on bag plus one personal item, with a combined weight up to 40 kg. There is no charge for hand luggage.
Pets are accepted on the outside deck only, on a leash and wearing a muzzle. Pet documentation is required at boarding.
