Lipe Ferry and Speed Boat is a Thai operator running passenger speedboat services to Koh Lipe and the Adang archipelago in the Andaman Sea, off the southern Thai coast near the Malaysian border. The operator caters to backpackers and tourists making short hops between mainland piers, the Phi Phi area and the Koh Lipe / Tarutao National Park region.
Vessels are small passenger speedboats appropriate for short Andaman crossings. Onboard amenities are minimal: bench seating, life jackets and overhead luggage racks. Schedules are heavily reduced during the May to October monsoon and weather cancellations are common.
SimpleFerry issues an e-voucher; passengers exchange the voucher for a boarding pass at the operator desk at the pier, normally 30 minutes before departure. One main bag plus a small carry-on per passenger is the standard allowance.
