Aegina Ferries (operator code AEF) is a Greek ferry operator on the Piraeus-Aegina line in the Saronic Gulf. The company shares this short, busy corridor with Saronic Ferries, Aegean Flying Dolphins, Blue Star Ferries, Magic Sea Ferries and San Lorenzo Ferries, providing residents and day-trippers with a near-hourly choice of departures during the high season.
Aegina Ferries operates conventional ROPAX vessels on the short Piraeus-Aegina hop. Onboard amenities are basic and consistent with a 1-hour crossing: indoor lounges, deck space, snack bar and a vehicle deck for cars, motorbikes and small commercial vehicles. The Piraeus-Aegina line is one of the busiest short ferry routes in Greece, with around 116 weekly sailings across all operators in the peak summer season.
SimpleFerry issues a booking confirmation. Foot passengers should be at the Piraeus port 30 to 45 minutes before departure; vehicle passengers 1 hour before. Up to 50 kg of luggage per passenger is included free of charge.
Pets are allowed. Small pets must travel in a carrier; larger pets must be on a leash with a muzzle.
