Levante Ferries is a multi-awarded Greek ferry company founded in 2014 and headquartered in Zakynthos, with central offices in Athens (Kallithea) and ticket agencies in Patras, Kyllini, Ithaca and Izmir. The company serves the Ionian Sea corridor between the Peloponnese and the southern Ionian islands of Zakynthos, Kefalonia and Ithaca, with a fleet of five conventional ferries and a network reaching six ports each week.
Fior di Levante (1,140 passengers, 200 to 300 vehicles) won the 2016 design award at the 14th Annual Ferry Shipping Conference and was the first ship in Greece to receive overnight electricity from a shore-based installation at the port of Kyllini. Other fleet members include Mare di Levante (1,068 passengers, 350 vehicles, formerly Ionian Star), Andreas Kalvos (1,765 capacity), Kefalonia (3,924 capacity, formerly run by Kefalonian Lines on the Patras-Sami-Ithaca route for 20+ years) and Smyrna di Levante (Shippax Retrofit Award 2023). Onboard, vessels offer Business and airplane-type seats (numbered), Economy deck-seats (unnumbered), luggage areas, snack bars, lounges, kennels, sickbays and Wi-Fi. Most facilities are appropriate for the 1.5 to 4 hour crossings.
Levante Ferries tickets booked through SimpleFerry are issued as e-tickets — print or download to mobile and board directly.
Pets travel in special onboard areas. Small pets in baskets or muzzled with valid vaccinations may accompany owners to cabins on overnight sailings; larger pets travel in dedicated kennels.
Levante Ferries vessels run Kyllini-Zakynthos in around 1 hour. Multiple daily sailings operate year-round.
Fior di Levante is internationally award-winning for its design, and it was the first Greek ferry to take overnight electricity from a shore-based 'cold ironing' installation, eliminating onboard generator emissions while docked.
