Fjord Line is a Norwegian ferry operator founded in 1993, headquartered in Egersund. It is Norway's second-largest international ferry operator with around 21% market share, carrying more than 1.2 million passengers per year. The fleet of three conventional cruise ferries plus one high-speed catamaran connects Norway and Denmark, with two of the cruise ferries powered entirely by liquefied natural gas (LNG).
MS Stavangerfjord (2013) and MS Bergensfjord (2014) are the world's first single-fuelled LNG cruise ferries, achieving 23% lower greenhouse gas emissions and 100% lower sulphur emissions than diesel equivalents. Both serve the long Hirtshals-Stavanger-Bergen route with cabins, restaurants, bars and a casino. MS Oslofjord runs shorter Hirtshals routes. The Fjord FSTR catamaran handles the high-speed Hirtshals-Kristiansand crossing in around 2 hours 15 minutes. Onboard the cruise ferries, passengers find cabins (Economy, Comfort and Premium classes), Nordic-style dining, duty-free shops, kids' areas and lounges with sea views. The Sandefjord-Stromstad route ended on 29 October 2023.

Recommended arrival time is at least 1 hour before departure; boarding typically closes around 30 minutes before sailing. Free luggage allowance is generous: 50 kg per car, with foot passengers allowed to bring as many bags as they can carry.
Pets are welcome on Fjord Line. Some dog breeds are restricted under Danish law — owners are responsible for confirming their breed is allowed before booking. Pet documentation is required.
